18 Jul New Hampshire Motor Speedway Race Report
Clint Bowyer Race Summary:
No. 15 5-hour ENERGY Chevrolet driver Clint Bowyer finished 24th in Sunday’s event at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Bowyer, who started 32nd, reported that he was loose and needed help turning the corner throughout the 301-lap event. Crew chief Steve Addington made a variety of chassis adjustment to help the condition and Bowyer was able to maintain position just outside the top 25 for most of the race. The HScott Motorsports driver also finished on the lead lap after he and Addington made a key call with 74 laps to go when they decided not to pit under caution. Bowyer was able to hold on for the remainder of the event despite some late race cautions to finish 24th. The team returns to action next Sunday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway where Bowyer has three top-10 finishes in 10 races.
